Petrified
How about a petrified bat, stuck in the fan compartment. Lets just say the homeowner made a “b” line for the door when she saw me pull this little fella from inside the furnace!

Fuzzy
If you don’t change your air filter for the next 7 years, your fan motor will start to grow a fuzzy hairdo. This homeowner said they didn’t know that they had an air filter and had lived there for 7 years…If you just read this and thought to yourself that you didn’t know you had an air filter either, then please call us ASAP!! Sad news for those who are wondering…this fan motor didn’t make it:(

Crib
Wow, nice pad Mr. Mouse! Too bad the owner of this outdoor unit wasn’t making enough rent off this mouse to cover the cost of the repair. Look close and you can see the pieces of electrical wire he stripped down to spice his place up a bit. This tenant was soon evicted and their security deposit held for obvious reasons:)

Bone Yard
Forensic investigators describe this scene as 2 adult males, age 2-3 apparently got in with the wrong crowd, ingested some sort of poison, and died on their way home (to the basement drop ceiling). Homeowners are the potential suspects but are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Do It Yourself
Changing your thermostat yourself is simple right?? Well, according to the Home Depot guy, it was suppose to be ;( It’s okay though. This is not our first rodeo! We can fix the thermostat and you just made another “do it yourself” project for the wall repair! Try not to make eye contact with that same Home Depot guy;)

The Gambler
Remember the Kenny Rodgers song? The lyrics say “the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep.” Well these first time homeowners and their new born almost did. When doing a routine check on this furnace, we tested it with a carbon monoxide detector. Our detector registered an alarming amount of carbon monoxide. We took these photos the next day for the owner while we were installing a brand new furnace. If you just read this and you do not have a carbon monoxide detector in your home, GET ONE!! If you don’t know what it is or where you can get one, call us!
